The short version. There is no ProGPS account, no ProGPS server and no analytics. Your trips, waypoints and settings are written to your device and stay there. I never receive them and cannot read them.
The app does use a few of Apple's own services — maps, place-name lookup, In-App Purchase and Siri. Those are covered in detail below, because being accurate about them matters more than a clean slogan.

All of it is stored inside the app's own container on your device. None of it is sent to me, and there is nowhere for it to be sent — the app contains no server address of its own and makes no network requests of its own.
ProGPS asks for “While Using the App” location only. It never asks for “Always”.
There is one exception worth stating plainly: while a trip is recording, location keeps running when the app is in the background. A recorder that stopped every time you switched apps would produce a broken track. iOS shows a blue indicator in your status bar for the entire time this happens, and it stops the moment you press Stop. Outside a recording, location is read only while the app is open in front of you.
ProGPS has no backend, but it does hand certain things to Apple frameworks built into iOS. When it does, that data goes to Apple, not to me, and is handled under Apple's Privacy Policy.
ProGPS Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple's In-App Purchase system. Payment details never pass through the app — I never see your card, your name or your Apple Account. The app receives only a signed receipt telling it whether the purchase is active, and stores nothing but that answer.
Restoring a purchase on a new device uses the same Apple system and requires no account with me.
The app contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash reporter and no third-party code that reports anything about you. Nothing you do in ProGPS is profiled, sold or shared. There is no App Tracking Transparency prompt because there is nothing to track.
Exports. You can export a trip as CSV or GPX, and a mileage report as PDF or CSV. These are created on your device and handed to the iOS share sheet — you choose where they go. If you send one to a cloud drive or an email, that destination's privacy policy applies from that point on.
Feedback email. The in-app feedback button opens a draft in your mail app pre-filled with your app version, device model and iOS version, because a report without them is usually unactionable. It is a draft: you can read, edit or delete any of it, and nothing is sent until you press send. The app never sends mail by itself.
Deleting your data. Trips and waypoints can be deleted individually inside the app at any time. Deleting the app removes everything it stored, including all trips, waypoints, settings and logs. Because none of it was ever uploaded, there is nothing left elsewhere for me to delete on your behalf.
Withdrawing permission. Location and motion access can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security. The app will keep working; the features that depend on those sensors will not.
ProGPS writes a small number of technical log lines to the standard iOS logging system — things like “trip started”, a point count, or an error description when a file fails to save. Coordinates, place names and trip titles are deliberately never logged. These logs stay on your device unless you choose to generate and share a sysdiagnose with Apple.
ProGPS is a navigation and telemetry tool and is not directed to children. It collects no personal data from anyone, including children under 13.
If this policy changes, the revised version is posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the App Store release notes for the version that introduces them.
